GeoGebra: How to Write Complex Math Symbols Using LaTeX Formulas.

This tutorial will show how to get nice formulas in math to work with GeoGebra without MathType.

1. Suppose you want this expression on your GeoGebra work.

2. Go to the LaTeX editor at: http://www.codecogs.com/latex/eqneditor.php

3. For this example, go to the tools and find the square root of x symbol.

4. The following code is written in the yellow box.

5.The cursor will be located between the curly braces. Go to the tools again and choose the fraction tool.

6. Now you see the following code.

7. Type in the "x" and the "2" between the curly braces.

8. Copy the code.

9. Go to GeoGebra. Choose the text tool. Paste the expression in Text. Then CLICK the LaTeX box. Hit OK.

10. To change the size and color. Right click on the expression and go to Object Properties. Change the Text size and Style.

11. Click the Color tab to change the color.

12. This is the final result for this example.
